Inspired by butcher’s guides to different cuts, Here Danny boldly illustrates a different type of butchery, the horrors that beagles are subjected to in vivisection.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Danny Branscombe is a portrait and nature artist, focusing on the
beauty and wonder of our planet. She intricately blends flora, fauna,
oceans, rivers, the natural and the fantastical to create striking
drawings that highlight our connection to, or loss of, the natural
world.
Danny often uses her artwork to raise awareness of important issues
affecting the planet and the many beings who live here, including for
The Bat Conservation Trust, Pangolin Crisis Fund, the Anti-Fur
Campaign, Protecting the Oceans, the importance of Rewilding, and a
charity portrait of Chris Packham bought by the man himself!
As a proud and vocal vegan, Danny is looking to work more with the
charities and people helping to end the suffering of non-human animals
across the planet, such as the amazing work done by Camp Beagle. Using
her skills as an artist to help make a real difference and move us all
towards a vegan world is the most rewarding and valuable work, and
what drives her to keep going in what often seems a hopeless struggle.
Every person touched by her art is another small victory.
