Progress over perfection.

Viva La Vegan was created because we believe small choices can make a big difference.

Every time someone wears one of our products, they're doing more than putting on a t-shirt or hoodie. They're helping start conversations, challenge outdated ideas and show that compassion can be worn proudly.

But we also know something else.

The clothing industry has an impact.

Every garment uses energy, water, raw materials and transport. Pretending otherwise wouldn't be honest.

Our responsibility is to reduce that impact wherever we can, make thoughtful decisions and keep improving every year.

We're not perfect.

But we're committed to doing better.

Our Promise

Everything we do is guided by four simple
principles.

🌱 Choose better materials

🤝 Work with ethical partners

♻️ Reduce waste wherever possible

🌍 Continue improving our environmental footprint

Every decision we make starts with one
question:

"Is there a kinder way to do this?"

Better Materials

We carefully select garments from suppliers who share our values around quality, ethics and environmental responsibility.

Most of our clothing is made using certified organic cotton, recycled fibres or carefully selected lower-impact materials.

Organic cotton is grown without harmful synthetic pesticides or genetically odified seeds, helping protect soil health, biodiversity and the people who grow it.

Where recycled materials are used, they help reduce waste and lessen the demand for virgin resources.

Choosing better materials won't solve every environmental challenge—but it's one of the most important places to start.

Our Suppliers

We don't believe ethical fashion starts with a logo.

It starts with the people who make the clothes.

That's why we work with suppliers who place sustainability, transparency and fair working conditions at the heart of their business.

Stanley/Stella

Much of our premium clothing comes from Stanley/Stella, one of Europe's leading sustainable garment manufacturers.

Their garments are designed with longevity in mind and produced using certified organic cotton and recycled materials wherever possible.

They are recognised for their commitment to responsible sourcing, supply chain transparency, reducing environmental impact and improving working conditions throughout their manufacturing network.

Continental Clothing

Continental Clothing has long challenged the idea that quality clothing has to come at the expense of people or the planet. Their commitment to ethical manufacturing, organic materials and lower-impact production has made them one of the most respected names in sustainable apparel.

The company has been instrumental in developing garments that reduce environmental impact while maintaining the comfort, quality and durability we expect for Viva La Vegan products.

We're proud to work with suppliers who continually invest in better ways of taking clothing.

Reducing Waste

One of the biggest problems in fashion is overproduction.

Millions of garments are made every year that never get worn.

We'd rather do things differently.

Many of our products are printed especially for you after you place your order.

That means we're producing clothing because someone genuinely wants it—not because we hope it might sell one day.

Printing on demand helps reduce unnecessary stock, excess waste and unsold products ending up in landfill.

It also means your clothing is freshly made with care rather than sitting on a shelf for months.

Packaging

We're continually looking for ways to reduce unnecessary packaging without compromising the protection of your order.

Where possible we use recyclable packaging and work with partners who are also committed to reducing waste throughout their supply chain.

As better packaging solutions become available, we'll continue making improvements.

Quality Matters

The most sustainable garment is often the one you wear for years.

Fast fashion encourages people to buy more and keep less.

That's never been our approach.

We believe in creating clothing that's comfortable, durable and designed to become a favourite—not something that's worn twice and forgotten.

Looking after your clothing properly also helps reduce its environmental impact.

Washing at lower temperatures, avoiding unnecessary tumble drying and repairing garments where possible all help extend their life.

People Matter Too

Sustainability isn't only about the environment.

  • It's also about people.
  • The people growing the cotton.
  • The people making the garments.
  • The people printing the designs.
  • The people packing your order.

That's why we choose suppliers who are committed to fair working conditions, transparency and internationally recognised ethical standards throughout their supply chains.

Everyone involved deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

Our Footprint

Every business leaves a footprint.

Ours does too.

We don't believe in pretending otherwise.

Instead, we focus on reducing our impact wherever possible by:

✔ Choosing lower-impact materials

✔ Working with responsible manufacturing partners

✔ Producing many products to order

✔ Reducing unnecessary waste

✔ Encouraging customers to buy well rather than buy often

Every improvement matters.

And we're committed to making the next one.

Looking Ahead

Responsibility isn't a destination.

It's a journey.

As new materials, technologies and better ways of working become available, we'll continue learning, adapting and improving.

We'll also continue being open about where we're doing well—and where we can do better.

Because that's what responsible businesses should do.

Thank you

Every time you choose Viva La Vegan, you're supporting more than an independent clothing brand.
