🌱 Viva La Vegan – Returns & Happiness Policy

We want you to feel brilliant about every order you place with us. If something arrives and it’s not quite what you expected, we’ll always do our best to help. Because many of our products are printed to order, the returns process works a little differently — but it’s still simple, and we’ll guide you through it.

Here’s everything you need to know.

This policy applies to all our retail customers in the UK and worldwide. Wholesale, trade, and bulk orders follow separate terms.

Everything we sell is covered — whether it’s printed to order or shipped directly from our warehouse.


🌿 Our Transparency Promise

We believe in being open about how we work, what we make, and the materials we use. Wherever possible, we choose organic, recycled, or lower‑impact fabrics — that’s always our preference and the direction we aim to grow in.

But we also want to be honest: not every product we offer meets those standards yet.

Some styles, colours, or specialist items simply aren’t available in organic or recycled options. Rather than limit what we can offer or compromise on quality, we sometimes use responsibly‑made non‑organic materials so we can continue to grow, stay competitive, and keep spreading our message.

Every product page clearly states the fabric used. If you ever want more detail, just ask — transparency matters to us.


Your 30‑Day Window

If something isn’t right, just let us know within 30 days of delivery.

After 30 days, we’ll still try to help, but options may be more limited depending on the item and the printing partner.


📬 Before You Send Anything Back

Please contact us before returning anything. Printed‑to‑order items must not be returned without approval, as our printing partners cannot accept unexpected returns. A quick message to us means we can point you in the right direction and avoid delays.

🧼 Condition of Items

If the item isn’t faulty

Printed‑to‑order items are made especially for you, so non‑faulty returns are only possible if the item is in perfect, resaleable condition — and even then, some printing partners may not accept returns.

Items must be:

  • Unworn and unwashed

  • Free from marks, stains, smells, or damage

  • With tags and packaging intact

If an item doesn’t meet these conditions, we may not be able to offer a refund or exchange.

If the item is faulty

If something arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective, we’ll sort it quickly.

Send us a photo and a short description. Once confirmed, we’ll arrange a replacement or refund depending on the printing partner’s policy.

Most faulty printed‑to‑order items do not need to be returned unless the printer specifically requests it.


🚚 Return Shipping

Non‑faulty items

Return postage is the customer’s responsibility.

All returns — whether warehouse items or printed‑to‑order items — must be sent directly to Viva La Vegan. Printed‑to‑order items should never be returned to our production partners under any circumstances. They cannot process returns, and parcels sent to them may be refused or lost.

If a return is mistakenly sent to one of our production partners, any costs involved in redirecting or recovering that parcel may be deducted from the refund or charged back to the customer.

Faulty items

If an item is genuinely defective, we’ll cover the cost of putting it right — whether that’s a replacement or a refund.


💸 Refunds

Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

If you’d prefer store credit, that’s absolutely fine.

Once any required return is received, refunds are usually processed within 3–5 working days.


⚖️ Fair Use

We’re a small vegan business, and we try to keep things fair for everyone.

We may:

  • Decline claims that appear excessive or suspicious

  • Limit future returns if someone repeatedly abuses the policy

  • Make the final call on eligibility

This doesn’t affect your legal rights.


🇬🇧 Your UK Consumer Rights

Nothing in any of our policies replaces your legal rights. If we ever word something in a way that contradicts UK consumer law, your legal rights always overrule our policies — and we fully support that.
