Our Returns Policy

We want you to feel good about every order.

At Viva La Vegan, we champion waste reduction and so many of our items are printed to order. If a return or exchange is necessary we keep it simple, and we’re here to help if you need us.

Below is everything you need to know about returning or exchanging an item.

Eligibility

Returns & Exchanges

We offer size exchanges within 30 days of your order being delivered. If more than 30 days have passed, we’re not able to offer an exchange.

To be accepted, items must be:

  • Unworn
  • Unwashed
  • Clean and free from marks, stains, pet hair, deodorant, or make‑up
  • In the same condition you received them

If an item comes back to us in a condition we can’t resell, we won’t be able to process the exchange.

How to Start a Return

Before sending anything back, please email us at jay@viva-la-vegan.com. We’ll reply with the correct return instructions.

When you send your parcel, please include a note with:

Missing details can delay the process, and in some cases we may not be able to identify the return at all.

We can’t guarantee the safe arrival of returned parcels, so we recommend using a tracked service.

Timelines

Processing Times

from the day your return reaches us

Once your return reaches us and has been checked by our team, we’ll process your exchange. Delivery times for your replacement will depend on the product type, your location and the shipping method chosen at checkout. If the product is an "in stock" VLV warehouse item then it will be sent out quicker than if it is a printed to order item. If it a printed to order item, the delivery time of replacement is dependant on a third party print providers reprint schedule.

A Note From Us

About Our Printed‑to‑Order Items

At Viva La Vegan, we work in two ways: some products are picked, packed, and shipped directly from our own little warehouse, and others are printed to order by trusted partners shortly after you place your order. They then ship those items straight to you.

Everything we sell can be returned — we don’t treat printed‑to‑order items as “personalised” or non‑returnable like some brands do. That’s just not how we see things. If you’re not happy, we want to fix it.

All we ask is that you take a moment to choose your sizing carefully. If you’re unsure, please email us — we’re always happy to help you pick the right fit before you order.

Some companies refuse returns on printed‑to‑order items because they believe they fall under special rules. We don’t agree. The last thing we want is someone feeling stuck with something they can’t wear. Without you, we can’t spread our message or challenge the old ideas people still have about veganism — so keeping you happy really does matter to us.
